The Capoeira Film Festival is a  Non-Profit organization founded in 2007 in the city of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Conceived to educate the public on the art of Capoeira, other African related dances, martial arts and rituals through an annual celebration of film, documentary, photography and open discussions.

The Festival’s mission is to preserve and promote Capoeira and other related arts, allowing their popularity to reach the broadest possible audience.

The first Capoeira  Film Festival held from 11 - 13 January 2008 was sponsored by  Associaçao Uniao Angolana & Stichting Agogo
